Dear friends, photographer colleagues, foodies and other readers, the wedding season is over and it is time for food stock photography again. 2010 was a special and very busy year. I enjoyed shooting weddings and giving beautiful photos and albums to my couples. But now I am back to the kitchen and my little studio with shiny new shelves and a big and heavy new Kenwood kitchen machine that I call “Mrs.Bridges” (-> pictures to follow). I am really enjoying this quite and cold time of the year. I am full of new ideas, plans and projects in mind. I am reading Julia Child’s kitchen wisdom and Anne Willan and think of making pastries, pasta and homemade bread. I invite you to subscribe to my blog and share my experiences and my love for food, food photography, cooking and baking. My blog has got a new design and some new features and I hope you will like it. Let me start with a pumpkin soup. A bit late for an autumn dish, but stock photographers do not care about seasons.. In fact I should have finished my easter shots weeks ago This soup is my own creation with Hokkaido pumpkins, carrots, potatoes, orange juice from fresh oranges. I served it with sour cream and pumkinseed oil and it was so delicious.
